Then the bankruptcy will last 10 years, so you won't have credit for that long, it really sucks, I went through this 20 years ago. I went bankrupt in 2011 - I can get jobs and stuff, but you won't have bad credit. Do this if you have a lot of debt. Wait 6 to 8 years, you will be debt free.
